PMI to exhibit at Greenbuild 2007

October 9th, 2007

The Plumbing Manufacturers Institute (PMI) has announced plans for a presence at Greenbuild 2007, November 7-9 at McCormick Place in Chicago. Booth space has been at a premium for what is becoming a must-attend conference for almost every industry, given the continued growth and emphasis on environmental initiatives, both in consumer products and in how those products are made. Former President Bill Clinton is this year’s keynote speaker.
“PMI and its members are heavily invested in exploring the latest available information on green [topics] as well as in communicating the positive things we are doing as an industry. We touch one of the consumer’s most basic needs, water, and we take our responsibility to deliver it safely very seriously,” says PMI’s Barbara C. Higgens. “Our recent naming of Shawn Martin as technical director was influenced by his deep expertise in water efficiency and green building. Greenbuild will be an opportunity to share our best practices and also to learn from others.”
