Sioux Chief introduces Stainless Steel Finish Line
February 5th, 2010Peculiar, Mo. — In an expansion of the Sioux Chief Commercial Drainage offering, stainless steel versions of the popular Finish Line™ floor drain and cleanout are now available for purchase.
Stainless steel Finish Line™ products are cast/machined Type 304 stainless steel and have 3″ or 4″ no-hub connections.
Stainless steel drainage fixtures are typically installed in areas where the important factors to consider are 1) Corrosion, 2) Sanitation/Hygiene, or 3) Appearance. Stainless steel’s superior corrosion resistance makes it suitable for applications where harsh fluids may be present, such as in breweries, chemical/textile plants, dairies, or laboratories. Stainless steel also provides a more sanitary surface than other materials, making it a common choice for commercial/restaurant kitchens, health care facilities, or food processing plants. Finally, the clean, durable, soft-silver appearance of the “shot-blasted” finished tops is perfect for areas where aesthetics are important.
The Finish Line is a unique drainage system from Sioux Chief Manufacturing that allows for adjustment of the fixture after the concrete pour. The secret lies in the design of a system which incorporates a coring sleeve and temporary coring plug that allow the drain or cleanout to be installed flush to the concrete. The finish fixture, clean and free from job site abuse, can then be adjusted up or down to meet the finished floor covering. The Finish Line eliminates the old way of installing drains and cleanouts that require time consuming preventative methods and costly fixes after the pour.
