Siphonic Drainage Systems Design and Sizing Software

www.rainwatermanagement.com

RMS recently announed the siphonic design software, SiphoniTec. This Web-based software greatly aids in the design of siphonic piping systems that will be compatible with our siphonic roof drains. SiphoniTec is designed for ease of use and for utilitarian use in roof drain piping system designs. It is suitable for all siphonic system projects requirements. In addition to the software, a class is offered to the engineering community, through RMS that will teach all aspects of siphonic piping design.

Ball Valves

www.cimberiovalve.com

CimPUSH, a line of push-fitting ball valves, is the latest innovation from Cimberio Valve. Like other push fittings, CimPUSH connects to copper, PEX or CPVC pipe without the need for tools, glue or solder. But unlike most push-fitting ball valves, which are made by threading adapters into ordinary threaded ball valves, CimPUSH features a completely integrated design that eliminates the need for field fabrications and potential leak points. Valves are available in 1/2 in., 3/4 in. and 1 in. sizes.

Tankless for Commercial Applications

www.rheem.com

On-demand tankless gas water heater from Rheem Water Heaters is engineered specifically for high-volume commercial applications, such as rest-aurants, hotels, schools, laundromats and multi-family housing. Commer-cial tankless gas water heater delivers hot water at various precise temperature set points up to 180¡F to meet the unique requirements of commercial water heating applications. As many as 20 commercial tankless units can be connected in a manifold-type configuration to handle larger hot-water applications. A single waterproof manifold controller governs the entire bank of water heaters, providing a constant flow of hot water without temperature fluctuations and in an energy-efficient manner.

Tankless Electric Water Heaters

www.stiebeleltron.com

Stiebel Eltron Tempra tankless, on-demand, electric water heaters are designed for whole house and various commercial ap-plications. www.takagi.com

Takagi’s T-KS is the company’s smallest, most-versatile and powerful residential tankless water heater. Unit is small enough to be recessed between two wall studs, making it virtually unnoticeable. Unit can also provide an unlimited supply of hot water continuously because there is no storage tank to heat and reheat. It has a maximum flow rate of 7.0 gpm and because up to four units can be connected together without the need of an additional control box, the T-K3 can easily meet the hot water needs of large homes.
